Custom Estates

A custom estate lets you reserve a small section of the cemetery that’s bordered by shrubs and greenery. This way, families can be buried together. They can be customized with private columbarium, private mausoleums, cremation pedestals and boulders, as well as areas for in-ground burial.

South Park Funeral home & Cemetery has their annual Day of the dead event. My family and I look forward to it every year. : No, embalming is not required for burial. It is always your choice. Your decision may depend on such factors as whether the family selected a service with a public viewing of the body with an open casket; or to enhance the deceased's appearance for a private family viewing; or if the body is going to be transported by air or rail, or because of the length of time prior to the burial.
