“We lost both of my in-laws within the span of about a month. We knew Dad’s funeral would be hard enough but to turn around and carry out Mom’s two weeks later was almost too much to bear. We are so grateful that we had Kimberly Reed, who handled both Mom and Dad’s funerals with such care that she made us feel like family, and Katherine Schmidt, who walked us gently through their final resting arrangements and made sure everything was perfect. We will continue to rely on Kim and Katherine in so many ways and are so thankful that they were there to care for not only Mom and Dad, but for us as we grieve.”

“I went to visit a close friend buried there at South Park. I was approached by one of their representatives by the name of Miguel Soto. At first I thought it was a sales pitch, but he was genuinely interested in making sure that my visit was pleasant. Never tried to sell me anything. I got curious and asked a few questions on the pricing and the procedures when someone dies and he was very clear. Definitely knew what he was talk8ng about”

“There are never words for having to say goodbye to a beloved member of the family. I never imagined handling the funeral for the Love of my Life, until we were much more advanced in our ages. Everything happened so fast yet it’s still slow moving. Ms. Kimberly Reed was a beacon of light throughout the entire process. Although I have always made decisions for the family, this was a road I had never traveled. Ms. Reed made every effort to be 100% sure that all arrangements and requests were carried out to a tee, even with the short notice. I feel that my husband’s life was truly honored, in its entirety, in the most beautiful way… I have the most sincere gratitude to Ms. Reed and her most compassionate staff at South Park Funeral Home. All of the very kind gestures that I received from the funeral home, (customized thank you notes, customized candle to honor the memory of my husband, etc.) These were all such beautiful gestures to honor any loved one. The kind gesture of the remembrance of all loved ones in December, for the year (my husband passed in 2024,) was also very much appreciated. “Stopped by to get info on what’s needed for a burial plot. Spoke to a gentleman Miguel Soto. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what all I need it, besides a hole in the ground. He took all the time in the world to show me around and explain all details. Never knew they had a Catholic cemetery. I’m talking it over with the family to look into a whole family plot. Beautiful cemetery and a big chapel. Very peaceful. Thank you Mr Soto”
