I knew Mrs. Beaty as Nancy's mother. She also was kind enough, at what surely was a terrible time in her life, to let me know when Nancy died (and that was a long time ago, in November 1974). She was always the nicest person to me. I recall once that she and her husband included me on a trip to Huntsville State Park. As I recall, we traveled in a Volkswagen bus. Thank you for all of your many kindnesses, Mrs. Beaty, and my sincere condolences at the loss of both her parents now to Martha.
