Wesley was known by many as Randy, both inside and outside the family. Wesley served his country with honor in the United States Navy for 18 years, retiring in 1978 as a Senior Chief Yeoman (YNCS). Following his military service, he began a successful second career in the oil industry with NL Acme Tool, Inc. Wesley was a man of strong moral character, known for his integrity, practicality, and quiet strength. He leaves behind a legacy of love and guidance. He had a fondness for World War II films and spent countless hours building intricate model airplanes from Balsa wood. His sons will always remember his no-nonsense approach to life, often expressed in his favorite saying: "It ain’t rocket science, son." The family will also fondly recall his signature poker move on the first hand of the game: “All in!”
A private family service will be held in his memory. Wesley’s presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.
