I will always remember abuelo as being so kind and patient to everyone. He was a family man and supportive in everything we did. One of the last few things he said to me was "If they put me to sleep, just know I lived a very good life” ..I'm at peace with his loss but I will miss him so much. Love you abuelo
Tio Vicente was a great conversationalist. Even when I was young he had great medical/health advice to share with me - some based on his research at work and some that he was working on his own. He was always teaching me something.
He was welcoming with a warm smile and hug. He had this amazing capability for compassion and understanding - a soft strength that I should emulate more.
Not to mention what a great cook - papas renellas and churros - yummy!
