Tom was proud to be called BOI as he was born and raised in Galveston. He was also a proud graduate of Ball High School and kept in touch with many of his classmates. After high school, Tom joined the Air Force. He was stationed in Washington State and Japan, both of which he loved. He worked at American National in Galveston then going to work as an IT Security Specialist with several sub-contractors for NASA where he also made many long-lasting friendships. He was always ready to help anyone with moving, flat tires, or whatever you needed.
Tom was a man that enjoyed many things; surfing as a teen, fishing, hunting, traveling, taking meticulous care of his yard and vehicles, watching the Astros as much as possible, telling long, long stories, watching his kids and grandkids playing any sport, eating banana pudding, dancing with Diane, and spending time with his family.
He was a respected friend and loved by many, especially his family that will miss him dearly.
