Tom was a great guy, we loved when he came to visit! He was always positive and kind, and he LOVED eating as much candy as he could from our candy bowl....He will be missed by us.

I was honored to be one of the nurses to care for Mr Smothers. He was always such a pleasure. Many days he would share a funny story from his life or talk about the nice dinner with friends he’d enjoyed. When I first met him, I knew he was special when he offered me one of his cowboy hats so I could have a hat to wear to a family function. I was touched by his kindness and thoughtfulness. From g to gat point in we shared many laughs and life lessons along the way. One of my favorite memories is when he gave me some bullets for Christmas to encourage me to go to the shooting range. The note he wrote on the jar said “watch out Santa.” My family and I still laugh about that. One of my favorite of many memories. Mr Smothers, you will be missed. Rest in peace sir.

Tom worked for me for many years in IT Security for the NASA Space Shuttle Program with Rockwell and United Space Alliance. He was an excellent and highly dependable worker, a great friend, and a better man! Only good memories.
