I will never forget the first time I met Max in New Orleans. He was selling his BMW 325i convertible. Little did we know then how much that car would change all of our lives! Long story short, Max and all his sisters, including Mary's soon to be husband, would move to Los Angeles as a result of his showing me his car that sunny afternoon, forever changing all of their lives. I remember spending time with Max when he was in LA and the kind things he said one particular afternoon at one of his friend's BBQ. I'd not spoken to Max in many years and was stunned and profoundly saddened to learn of his passing. In fact, when I first heard the news I simply could not believe it. He was far too young to leave this earth. My heart goes out to his Wife, his sons and to his family. Max was much like the nucleus of the Tran family and he's no doubt terribly missed by all who knew him.
