Sandra Lynn Mason's Obituary
Sandra Lynn Mason, affectionately known as Sandy, 76, passed away on December 8th, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sandy was born on December 2nd, 1948 in Metairie, Louisiana where she spent her formative years. She went on to graduate high school and later became an office manager doing clerical work at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Pathology Lab in the Houston Medical Center. She then transitioned into cosmetic sales at Neiman Marcus for many more years. She was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others look and feel their best.
But more than anything, Sandy was known for her cheerful demeanor, childlike exuberance and zest for life, loving and kind heart, and devoted friendships. She enjoyed playing various different games and attending other social activities with her friends and her (adopted) family. For the last several years, Sandy was a regular at the West University Senior Center, which is where Sandy developed many beautiful friendships. Sandy was a bright and beautiful spirit who blessed everyone’s lives. To know Sandy was to love Sandy, and that is why she became our family.
Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Christina, and her brother Lawrence (Larry), whom she adored. She leaves behind her beloved cat Bebe, her many friends, and her (adopted) family. We will all cherish her memory forever.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 13th at 3:45pm at the West University Senior Center. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 10am at South Park Funeral Home: 1310 N. Main St, Pearland TX 77581.
