Roy Monroe Coleman Jr.'s Obituary
On April 23, 2021, our Lord, Jesus Christ called home Roy Monroe Coleman Jr. He is survived by his wife Lisa Charolette Utley Coleman, his daughter Shereé Jenae Gomez, his five grandchildren, Alexis, Jenae, Kalie, David, and Diana Gomez, his sister Sharon McCoy and her son Roger, his Father-in-law Leo Allen Utley, brothers-in-laws Brad and his wife Jackie Utley, and Bart and his wife Cindy Utley. He is also survived by his Aunt Doris Billings and Cousins Jan Cobb and husband Gary, Gayle Romans and husband Wendell, and Carol Thiele and husband William. He also leaves behind his friend Sarah Brock and her two sons, Kaleb and Alexander. He had a special bond with them and wished that he could have done more for them. He leaves behind many friends that he loved. There was this little girl at his church (sorry I don’t know her name) who he just fell in love with as well.
Roy loved the Lord and spoke with everyone about Him. He was always helping everyone he met. He always worked hard at everything he did. He volunteered at his church doing whatever needed to be done. He loved animals and volunteered as well as worked at Habitat for Horses. He loved the Battleship Texas and volunteered there. He loved photography and was always taking pictures of everything and I mean everything.
