Roy was a dear friend and co-worker for many years. His jovial spirit was something you could always count on when he came into a room or called you on the phone. He will be missed. R.I.P. my friend.

For many years, Roy both volunteered and worked for Habitat for Horses. He was loved by every member of the staff, and he truly loved the animals. He saw them arrive neglected and abused and became their angel as they recovered. He was a joy to be around, always ready to bring a smile to anyone. He was, and is, loved.
I only knew Roy for a few months. Great man. Very dedicated in helping others.
Roy and I spent a lot of time together some from the 70's till 2000.
I loved Roy as a brother and I will miss him greatly. Of all the jobs that he and I worked together, one stands out, and must be remembered here. We had a mutual friend (Ken Cox) who acquired stomach cancer. Roy drove him from League City to Houston and back twice a day for the four months that Ken could work,(just so Ken would have something to do). Roy never complained one time, he was a great Christian influence on me. How great a testimony, to give someone of your (time) the only thing we don't have plenty of. Thank you Roy, and rest in the Lord.

Roy was one of my piano students. He was a delightful man, always smiling and brightened up the day when he came in the door. Roy found joy in playing the piano. He loved music and he loved the Lord. He will certainly be missed.
Roy and I were friends and coworkers for almost 50 years. He and I shot in M1 rifle matches down in Angleton.
He was a wonderful person and I will miss him...I will never forget him.
