Nathan was one of the greatest men I have ever known. The first time I met him he made mention about I better not hurt his daughter and a shot gun, that part about the shot gun really got my attention and stayed with me to this day. When Viv and I got married he told me to take good care of his little girl and I promised him I would. He was always happy to see his kids when they came around and always willing to give advise when you asked for it. A few years before Ruthie passed away I went to visit them and when I started to leave Ruthie gave me a big hug and said thank you for making Vivian so happy and I was in tears when I drove away. It was always so hard to see them because there would be a huge wave of memories come back, anywhere from fixing fences to climbing the trees at the house across the street to catch bantam chickens on of his renters left when they moved out, From laughing at him griping to Ruthie about something and her griping back at him. He was one of my inspirations to become a mason. We are all going to miss him so much but he left us with a lot of wonderful memories and I know that Ruthie and Vivian were there when he walked thru those pearly gates. God bless you dad and someday we'll all be together again.

Rebecca I am so very sorry! I will be praying for you and your family. Your Father sounds like such a wonderful man. I remember you telling me how much he loved to dance. What a life well lived. Robyn Griffith
