Mary Lucille Ely passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Pearland, Texas. Mary was born on December 29, 1926 to Mark and Lillie George in Wilson, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Walter Rutherford Ely, Jr., great-grandson Tyler Koenig, one brother and 3 sisters. Mary is survived by her son Walter R. Ely III and wife Stella, daughter Ellen Chetta, grandson Walter R. Ely IV, granddaughters Pamela Ely, Brenda Hermanson and husband Kevin, great-grandchildren Justin Koenig, Cody Fish, Faith Ely and Justin Hermanson, one brother and one sister. Her joy in life was to care for her family and her home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, and most of all spending time with her loved ones.
