I was so sorry to learn that Lela or Lee as I called her had passed away. I met her in Sioux City Iowa during the latter part of 1943. We did a lot of dancing in those days as
ballroom dancing was very popular at that time, and Lee was a very good "Lindy Hop"
dancer. Sioux City had two wonderful ballrooms that we went to almost every week
as I recall. I tracked her down a few years ago and we renewed our friendship, talking
on the telephone and recalling those days. I will miss talking to her but at our ages
things don't go on forever. Christine kept me up to date when there was an emergency
so I became slightly acquainted with her. My condolences to everyone for your loss.
