Joy was a wonderful woman who loved fishing, crabbing and camping with her grandkids. Joy was the perfect name for her because she brought so much joy to those around her. We have lots of great memories of her and her grandson Forrest playing and laughing together. She would call and be so excited saying she and Otis were coming to get Forrest and take him camping with them. They were supposed to be retired and relaxing, not chasing a toddler/kid at the camp grounds, but they loved it. She was a hands on grandma who loved to laugh and enjoyed life to its fullest. Even though I haven't been in the family for over 23 years I would still see her from time to time and she always treated me and my husband like family. We could joke and pick on her and she would dish it right back. We will never forget Joy because it's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. We are truly blessed to have know her and had her in our lives. Our lives are better just by knowing her. Until we meet again. We love you.
