Mr. Jay A. Gates, 81, of Pearland, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha Gates; three sons, Jay B. Gates, David K. Gates and Robert C. Gates; three daughters, Marilyn J. Nygrin, Ja Read Obituary
Jay was the go to technical person at Drew Chemical for many years and set the bar for the entire company. He was a mentor and a great friend. He will be sorely missed by many. I will forever remember his wonderful smile and laugh.
