Jackie was my Big Sister at North Texas. I attended for less than a year, but we had an incredible bond from the moment we met. She lived in the sorority house, and her roommate was hardly ever there, so I would spend the night there almost every night. She taught me how to cook the crispiest green beans and we would “eat them like French fries.” As the first semester came to an end, she began coming up with a way I could officially move into the house to be her roommate. She was the sweetest soul and acted as if we had known each other our whole lives. At formal, we were voted “Best Big/Lil” because we were just so perfect for each other. When I decided to move back home, I didn’t even tell her until it was final because I knew she was the only one who could talk me into staying. We would talk randomly throughout the years and she would always start her texts with “Hey Little!!!” She will be greatly missed.
