Jack became my friend in1961 when he married my "first childhood friend"...Jackie and I bonded as toddlers. Our friendship continued to grow over the years and when I married expanded to include my husband. A very precious memory for us was a New Year's Eve we spent in Comanche. Jack wanted to play "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" as a way to stay up until midnight. To our chagrin, we learned none of us were! We laughed a lot, had a great time, and per Jack's insistence stayed up to Midnight and were tucked in bed by 12:01. We will miss our dear friend. Alex and Bob Husted
On one of our visits to TX when I was only in 8th grade, my cousin Jack gave us a wonderful tour of the NASA facilities in Houston TX where he worked. We will never forget his kindness and generosity. TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. See you again on the other side cuz. XO
My condolences. It was sad day in my life when I heard that Jack had passed away. Jack was a good man, great engineer, mentor, and a good friend. I will miss our conversations and emails. He loved to talk to me about his grandsons. He was so proud of them.
