Gilda, our beloved Friend.
Together with her dearest sister Gloria, as lifelong friends we stand by her side. Diana Morin, Linda Davilla, Elva Alaniz and Linda Garcez united to commemorate and celebrate Gilda, a woman of heroic character.
We will reflect as we share precious memories and pictures. We will reminisce of a childhood full of wonderful memories with the Salazar Family. Our graceful stroll down memory lane will begin with sleepovers when Gloria and I were about 13 and Gilda about 11. Elva’s contribution will be the college parties and dancing during our twenties. The girl’s trip in 1975 to Monterrey, Mexico will certainly bring a smile to all. Ultimately we share marriage and kid’s tales. Indeed lots of memories.
We will absolutely applaud and honor Gilda’s devotion, determination and delight parenting three amazing children. Lexi, Gusty and Zach, three well adjusted, independent professional adults are Gilda’s Legacy. We honor and treasure her memory.

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I have fond memories of Gilda and I going through high school, hanging out together after graduating from high school and celebrating our daughter's birthday parties together. Gilda was smart, in the Spanish club, fun to hang out with and was especially a dear friend to me. I thank God that we had the chance to meet and become great friends. I'm sorry that later in life our lives went separate ways as our family grew but she was always a treasure in my heart. May Gilda's memories be a treasure in our hearts and may her memories give her family and friends strength to endure the days ahead of us.
