Rev. George J. Lupo's Obituary
Rev. George J. Lupo, 84, of Huntsville, TX entered into rest peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, November 29, 2010. Born in State Line, MS on September 1, 1926 to George Franklin Lupo and Delia Laemore, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and son, Rodney Carroll. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce E. Lupo; children, Robert Jefferson Lupo, Janie Melissa Lupo, Darla Sue Schrock, Lisa Georganne Eberle, Sandra Elaine Collins, Roy Eugene Willis, Larry Wayne Willis, Gary Louis Willis; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Rev. Lupo has been in the ministry for over 50 years with 43 years of ministry on the radio and 30 years of prison ministry. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. A service of remembrance will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Christian Temple Assembly of God, 9701 Almeda Genoa Rd. in Houston, TX.
