Evelyn LaCarol Dorsey's Obituary
Evelyn LaCarol Dorsey was born on November 17, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Leroy (deceased) and Stacie Parker.
Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Holman Street Baptist Church.
Evelyn attended the Houston Public School System and graduated from Jack Yates High School in 1974.
Upon completion of High School she attended the University of Houston and Dallas Baptist University which led to her career with AT&T where she received several prestigious awards and won three trips to Hawaii for being a top sales producer. Evelyn retired from AT&T after serving 34 years as a Customer Service Manager.
Evelyn also worked for MK Personnel, United Global Services, and Culbertson Resources as a top Senior Recruiter respectively.
Evelyn with her knowledge and experience accepted a position at South Park Funeral Home in the Sales
Department in January 6, 2020 where she received several sales awards., \ Ic:,\ur \ ) \ eu LA,\,O
Evelyn is preceded in death by her father Leroy Dorsey and brother Gregory Dorsey.
She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved Mother Stacie Parker (Alvin), her son De'Tric Dorsey Sr., grandson De'Tric Jr., granddaughter Lauren, sisters Cheryl Lynn, Alesia, brothers Gary Davis (Ann), and Kenneth Dorsey.
A host of Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
During her last days Evelyn stated that she was ready to be with the Lord and gain peaceful rest. God called her home and freed her from pain. Now she is resting with our Heavenly Father.
