I was involved with HOSA at Friendswood HS and therefore was fortunate enough to be able to work with and learn from Mrs. Kacher. She was a wonderful teacher and a beautiful person. She was one of the most positive, influential teachers I had the privilege of having during my high school career. She left an indelible mark on all of her students and she will be missed greatly. Thank you for all that you did for me and for all of your students Mrs. Kacher. You were and forever will be a shining star in my eyes.

Out first day of class at Debakey, junior year; Mrs. Kacher was introducing the history of medical practices in ancient times. She has a beaker with a yellow liquid sitting on the table; as she segwayed into another topic she mentioned that people use to use urine as medicine. She then convinced us that the beaker was filled with urine and drank it infront of us!! It was the greatest prank! Obviously it was apple juice, but that was just what she was like; a great silly person! I'll never forget my time in her class. She was a beautiful person that will be missed.
