Mrs. Dee Ann (Grigsby) Boyd's Obituary
Dee Ann (Grigsby) Boyd, aged 60, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 12, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce, and children, Charles and Ian.
She was the daughter of Charles W. Grigsby, Jr. and Annie B. (Erickson) Grigsby. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Charles W. Grigsby, III.
She graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Psychology and began to pursue a career, but that career was happily changed to starting and raising a family. Dee loved this new direction in life and felt blessed to have this opportunity and having two wonderful children; her legacy. She left a lasting impact on the many people whose lives she touched from teaching Sunday school at St. Clare and other volunteer work that she took on passionately. In addition to her raising a family and pets, running a home and volunteer work, Dee was a lifelong supporter of the Houston SPCA and other animal welfare organizations in her native Houston. She leaves behind her beloved rescue animals, two dogs and two cats.
Dee was an avid reader and traveler and loved to learn about the world and different cultures. She lived a full and happy life and was deeply loved by all those who were fortunate enough to know her as the warm, charming and caring woman that she was.
