Daphne Marie Jones' Obituary
Daphne “Dee “ Marie Jones age 70, formerly of Missouri City passed away on February 1 , 2020. She was born on August 1, 1949 to Howard and Johnnie Marie Thomas.
She is survived by her high school sweet heart and husband of 52 years , Ronald W Jones. Daughters , Jennifer Simpson, husband Gregory ; granddaughter Alyssa Simpson Tiffany AuBuchon, husband Kenneth ; grand daughters Shelby and Savannah AuBuchon.Heather Friedman husband Steven ; grand daughter Anjali Friedman, brother Willie Shannon Thomas and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her dad Howard and mother Johnnie Marie Thomas , brother Howard “Buddy” Jr Thomas and daughter Angela Dian Jones.
She was a graduate of Overton High School class of 1967 in Memphis, Tennessee.She moved to Texas in 1983 when Ron was transferred for his job. She went to work for multiple insurance agents, before she went to work for Fort bend ISD where she retired after 14 years.
She was a beloved wife , mother , mimi and friend. She enjoyed going on family trips with all of the kids and grandkids in the summer. She loved Harry Potter. She also enjoyed collecting coffee cups and bells on her trips.
