Craig Stephen Morrison's Obituary
Craig Stephen Morrison left us to go home to the Lord on August 6, 2023, in Houston, Texas.
Craig was born on August 2, 1954, in White Plains, New York. Through his young life growing up he lived in Georgia, California and finally Texas, where he eventually established his permanent residence in Baytown, and this is where he always returned. Craig offered a huge part of his life to helping others. In his earlier adult years, he had various adventures trying his hand at working with animals, putting up storage buildings in numerous locations, helping to run a homeless shelter and eventually ending up in the state of his birth running a rehabilitation facility in New York. Of course, he heard Texas calling and returned to start his night owl job for the Baytown Sun that satisfied his craving for overnight work. Finally, Craig ended up realizing his dream job working for S & S Investigations and Security. For the last decade, Craig helped to keep property and people safe. Starting in September 2013 as a security officer he was quickly promoted to patrol officer, dispatcher and supervisor. At the time of his passing, he was lead dispatcher and field supervisor over 50 officers with the additional duties of vehicle maintenance manager and assistant to the operations manager. He loved his job, responsibility and most importantly the family that S & S came to be to him. Craig was extremely intelligent and loving, you could always find him sharing his little factual anecdotes with family and friends as he shared the ironic elements of life especially reminding his nieces and nephews that their brains are not fully developed until they are 25. We will never forget his out of this world beef stroganoff and pineapple upside down cake. He will be deeply and sincerely missed by all. Craig is preceded in death by parents Guy Loren Morrison, Jr. and Harriet Louise Sommer Morrison. He is survived by his sisters; Sherry Morrison, Wendy Morrison, Dawn Morrison Saifi, her husband, Wadih Saifi; Nephews; Eric Morrison, his wife, Connie Morrison, Heath Pritchett, his wife, Kelley Pritchett, Michael Pritchett, his wife, Megan Pritchett, Jamil Saifi, his wife Ashley Saifi; Nieces; Rachel Pritchett O’Keeffe, her husband John O’Keeffe, Jennifer Saifi Pender, her husband, Eric Pender, Janette Saifi Owens, her husband, Matthew Owens and several loving grandnephews and grandnieces.
