I remember when Craig was born. The Morrison and Graham family were beside themselves with joy that a grandson had finally been born in the family. Up until then all the grandchildren were girls. Yes, I guess he was a bit spoiled by all of us, at least for a while.
There is story that my mother, (Craig's maternal grandmother), liked to tell about the time Craig spent a week at our house in New Jersey. Our father had just bought his brand new 1957 Dodge that was yellow & black. He was out in the driveway washing it when Craig decided to go out and help him. Dad didn't see him right away until he went around to the other side of the car. There was Craig, trying to mimic grandpa's action of rubbing soap & water on the car, but Craig didn't have any soap and water so he used the sand laying in the driveway. He was rubbing it all over this brand new car. Needless to say, grandpa picked that little guy up and brought him in the house where he told his grandmother to keep him, making sure he does not go out of her sight. In all the years with my dad, I only saw him really angry twice, that was one of the two.
Craig was mischievous, and loved picking on his sisters and cousins.
Most of the time that my sister and brother-in-law lived in New York, I would spend my summer vacations with them. I was their built-in baby sitter.
Craig will be missed by many, many people for sure. I am comforted in the fact that, based on Craig's profession, that he is safely in heaven enjoying a great reunion with his mom and dad and a host of other family members who preceded him. But mainly, he has met face to face with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Is that not the goal of every one of us who serve the Lord down here?
Craig............................until we meet again, and we are all together for eternity.
We will sing, The Little Blue Man together once again!
