Wayne Wilkerson
I begin in 1991. Carolyn and Phil became my "prayer partners" while I was in the seminary in Irving, Texas. We have been good friends--praying with and for one another for 35 years. Her beautiful handwriting...Carolyn addressed my invitations to my priestly ordination (850) with love and happiness. This task once again proved her friendship. Many meals at her home on Sulphur Street in Houston and on Fincher in Friendswood where she made her famous salad with the mandarin oranges. YUM. Meals out to Monument Inn and many stories shared over the years. I was her fourth decade on the rosary for all of those years and I am humbled and blessed by her goodness, kindness, love of God, love for her Catholic faith, love for her family and finally...love for her four-legged friends. I remember Charlie & Chico well. In Carolyn, I could not have asked for a friend so true and so kind. Carolyn, may your soul, and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace! Amen...
