Uncle Bill was one of the kindest gentlemen I have ever known. He never failed to have a smile on his face or to share an uplifting word that just seemed to make the day a little brighter. My dad, Lewis Martin, thought the world of Uncle Bill. He respected Uncle Bill because he was such a genuine human being. He honored Uncle Bill because he followed the example of Jesus Christ so sincerely. But the thing that drew my Dad to truly love Uncle Bill , and probably the rest of the family as well, was watching the way he treated his lovely bride Ruth, Dad's sister. Watching Uncle Bill "spoil" my Aunt Ruth never failed to make us smile. If she was considering 1 flower for her yard, suddenly Bill would show up with 10! He will be so missed. I am just a niece, and his loss is heart breaking. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow Aunt Ruth, his children and grandchildren are going through. May God grant them comfort and peace.
