Arthur was my older cousin who I always looked up to!! He had a smile as big as Texas and was always ready to engage in a conversation! He loved people and he loved cars! He lived life passionately and appreciated each moment.

A favorite time was when he was working in Kansas a few years ago and was able to spend some time with me and my family! It was a pleasure to cook for him and break bread together!

We spoke regularly, and he always spoke encouragingly! He never hesitated to say "I love you, Cuz!" He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Arthur White was truly my friend, brother, and a father figure to me. I have known him as a friend and confidant over 25 years . Whenever I needed advice regarding mechanical issues with my 84 Chevrolet pickup, he was always there to inform me. I will treasure all of the times we talked about the goodness of our Lord and Savior. I used to call him doctor because he had great advice about how to repair vehicles. Rather it was spiritual or natural things that I was going through, he was always there to give me advice to help guide me through any situation. I will reflect on the times that we had lunch together and enjoyed good laughs. Rest in peace my friend. You truly will be missed.

Arthur was my friend, big brother ,uncle, advisor, someone I could ask to keep me in his thoughts and prayers. And I know he would do it sincerely. Not to mention someone to look up to. Admire respect and learn from in the trucking industry. I can help but wonder how many people living in Harris County and surrounding counties. That has no idea of his contribution to the building of their community. It’s my honor to always look up to you and call you my big brother. He is my big brother. When we wandered the Kansas fields, he was always out front. Legs much longer. Moving faster. Getting there first.
But…when I got to the next gate…the next fence…he’d be there. Waiting. Holding the gate open or the barb wire fence apart so I could safely get through.
So. Going out ahead again, Big Brother? I’m sure years from now when I get there, you’ll be waiting, doing your best to help me through the gate.

My uncle Arthur will be deeply missed. I remember visiting his shop as a kid, on the east side of Houston and the good times shared. He always greeted you with a smile and you felt his kind spirit while in his presence. I love a genuine soul and my uncle Arthur definitely had a genuine soul. Rest up Unc, we got it down here 🙏🏿❤️.
