Amy Nicole Johnston's Obituary
Amy Nicole Johnston, 42, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away December 11, 2024. She was born on January 23, 1982, in Webster, Texas, to Donald W. Roberts and Linda S. Roberts. After graduating from Pearland High School in 2000, Amy attended Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Psychology and a minor in English. Later, she received a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston Clear Lake.
After graduation, she worked at UTMB performing psychological testing and evaluation on children. Later, she worked for UT Health Science Center as a research monitor followed by being a stay-at-home mom.
In 2004, she married Andrew M. Johnston, and seven years later they welcomed a son, Emerson Johnston.
Amy was a Godly, loving, thoughtful, and caring person. She was known for not only her sense of style and creativity, but also, for being an attentive listener, an empathetic friend, and a devoted wife and mom. Amy loved her family dearly. She had a strong faith and devotion to God and had been a member of Southeast Church of Christ since she was a young child.
Amy is preceded in death by her father, Donald Roberts, and both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her loving family which includes her husband, Andrew Johnston; son, Emerson Johnston; mother, Linda Roberts; sister, Ashley Almanza, husband Ruben, daughter Avery; and many other cherished relatives.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Southeast Church of Christ, 2400 W. Bay Area Blvd., Friendswood, TX 77546, followed immediately by the Celebration of Life.
