I've known Amy since our girls were 5, and Kayla was in Emerson's kindergarten class with Emerson. I remember meeting her at the Christmas party and we became quick friends! I was awed by the party she put together for their holiday event. By that summer, we were already texting and hanging out. We had just built our pool that year, and we would invite the three of them over and grill and hang out all the time. Andy, Amy, Daniel & I hit it off right away. We laughed, sat on pool floats and watched as the kids came in and out of the pool for hours. I loved those summers, and I loved those memories with her.
