Allen Fletcher Perry's Obituary
Allen Fletcher Perry, 79, of Dickinson, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2023. Allen was born in Pensacola, FL on February 18, 1944, son of Jimmy Fletcher Perry and Rosa Lee (Williams) Perry.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Leroy Perry, sister Patricia Mae Traynom and daughter Tereah Leigh Perry. He leaves behind his loving sister Hazel Lee McDonald, his children Angela Michelle Perry, Allen Fletcher Perry, Jr., Sharon Deniece Perry and grandchildren Malako James Ferrer, Mattison Michelle Tucker and Cailyn Shelby Haight and many cherished family members and friends.
Allen was a man of many trades, but he spent most of his working years as one of the greatest crane operators of his time, leading and mentoring thousands throughout the decades of projects. Allen loved to learn and study, especially psychology and took pleasure in listening to bluegrass and jazz music. He was always the smartest and wisest individual in any room and challenged everyone around him to be the best versions of themselves.
Allen’s family is immensely grateful for his dear friend Don Evans (Spider) and his wife Jeannie Evans for their friendship of 30+ years and compassionate, tender care at the end of his life.
A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m., with a funeral service following at 6 p.m. on June 10, 2023 at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
