I have nothing but memories. Everyday one comes to mind- I miss her hugs and kisses, her sinister giggle, her 1,000 questions in 1 minute, always wanting to play dominoes, cards or make photo albums… I miss some of her mommy dishes… chicken and dumplings, smothered snake, poached eggs on toast when I was sick… my mother loved hard and was always right by my side. Life is so strange without her. Always your baby girl, Kristen
My dear Adrienne was my childhood best friend. We shared so many memories of life in a small town; our summer escapades were many and fun. Adrienne and I started the first A&M Club (before we knew there was a college) and she was the president, of course, and I was the secretary. She was the "fun bus" for all who knew her. Her San Saba family loved her "big" and always called her "Doll" which she was. I loved her little giggle, her enthusiasm, and especially her love for people. She made my life richer and I am privileged to know her. We will have more adventures ahead in our true Home. I send my love to her precious family.
Adrienne was my first friend when I moved to Texas in 1978. Our daughters are two years apart in age and my son is one month older than Adrienne’s son Chad. Although Adrienne and Johnny moved away from Barwood we maintained contact over the years. Adrienne was a very special human being and the world is diminished by her absence. May the many wonderful memories comfort your family as you face this most difficult life challenge.
