Sam had a lengthy career selling electrical supplies, followed by being a machinist and a security guard. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Elsie Lowrance, sisters Naomi Marie Mitchell and Susan “Kokie” Harikiopoylos, and brother Michael Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Carrol Lowrance, son Derek Carter his wife Linda and their daughter Arianna,brother Mark Mitchell, sisters Nina Smith, Mary Chicas, and Wendy Guzman, 2 daughters Jennifer Ann Carvile and Lindsey Lynae Rochrick, and including extended family, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
