'His love was present with everyone who knew him, our hero who was there for us, a master craftsman, hard worker, the original green thumb, a man whose word was his bond, we loved him so much and he will be missed'. Woodrow Wilson Rivers, 90, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2008. He was born September 16, 1917 in Shelby County, Texas to Benjamin and Nona Rivers. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Rivers. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years Mary Lee Rivers; daughters, Marlene Foster, Mary Lou Stubee and husband John; son, Pat Alan Rivers and wife Kathleen; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. ' Woody' retired from Reed Roller Bit after 41 years of dedicated service.
