Wilma Aline Black, 91, of Pearland, TX entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Born in Pearland, TX on March 10, 1918, she was preceded in death by her loving Husband, George "Elmer" Black; son, David Black; parents, O.R. "Jim" and Martha Harvey; and brothers and sisters, James Harvey, Wilda Jeffcoat, Edwin Harvey, Charles Harvey, Ruby Harvey, and Lynwood Harvey. She is survived by her children, George Black, Jr. and his wife Bettye, Martha Jahn, Howard Black and his wife Carollynn, Larry Black and his wife April, and daughter-in-law, Tricia Black; grandchildren, Jeff Black and his wife Sheryl, Greg Black, Kim Black-Green and her husband Paul, Michael Jahn, Rodney Jahn and his wife Amy, Kelley Black, Bryan Black, Cory Black, Ryan Black and his wife Ashley, Clay Black, Holly Black, and Shawn Black; great-grandchildren, Jason Black, Jessica Black, Lyndsi Black, Haley Black, Ryan Black, Taylor Green, Matthew Jahn, Laura Jahn, and Zoey Lewis-Black, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 3rd, 2009 at SouthPark Funeral Home. A Funeral Service Celebrating Mrs. Black's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. in Pearland. The interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
