Mr. William Sherman Curtiss' Obituary
William (Bill) Sherman Curtiss was born, Febuary 28, 1951, in Wakeman, Ohio to Jack and Joyce Curtiss.
He grew up in Elyria, but spent his later years in Galveston, Texas, never missing the opportunity to have fun with friends and family. Bill joined the Army in his early years, and served his country honorably during the Vietnam era. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him honors. Bill was known for helping anyone he came in contact with. He was very close to his family.
Bill passed away on August 28, 2019, after 68 great years, at his home in Friendswood.
Mr. Curtiss is survived by his sisters, Lynn Kays of Phoenix, Arizona, and Roberta (Bobbi) Tomkins and her husband Lyle Tomkins, brothers Paul Curtiss and Don Curtiss, all of Friendswood, Texas, many other relatives, cousins, nieces and nephews and of course, many, many friends.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Veteran's aid organization of your choice.
