Mr. Wesley Eugene "Dub" Campbell's Obituary
"In a hundred years, we wll never know the difference." Wesley E Campbell (DUB) Born December 31, 1926 to Ida and Carl Campbell of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away on November 17,2012 in Houston ,Texas. He was married and is survived by his wife and partner Mary Campbell for 64 years. He is also survived by his two children Mary Heiserman and husband Wilbur, son Dale Campbell and wife Patricia, four grandchildren: Wesley Campbell and wife Tylena, Mandy Calvert and husband John, Kerry Heiserman, and Wendy Heiserman, two step grandchildren: Jennifer Miller and Jason Miller. He also was blessed with five great grandchildren: Tayler Ann, Cole, Mark , Kyle and Hailey.
He was alot of things to alot of people, from plumber to carpenter to friend to hunting and fishing buddies, to anything you needed help with. He cooked a many a chicken for the Rainbow Girls of South Houston's Masonic Lodge. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, but most of all he was a very devoted husband to the care of his wife Mary to the very end.
It is safe to say the speckled trout and redfish population of the Houston and Galveston bay systems is on the rise, for Dub is not fishing for them anymore. Maybe it's his way of conservation for his great grandchildren. If he were still here, he would say to all his friends " Thanks for all the memories , keep fishing "
