Mr. Walter Dexter Tucker's Obituary
WALTER DEXTER TUCKER, of Missouri City, TX was born November 5, 1927 in Victoria, TX to Walter and Della Tucker, and passed away May 8, 2010. Dexter was a graduate of Pati Welder High School in Victoria, attended Texas A&I, Kingsville and served in the Navy during World War II. Dexter had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Marie Tucker; sons Gary Tucker and wife Cynthia of Sugarland, Walter Tucker and wife Catherine of Missouri City, Dexter Tucker and wife Linda of Missouri City; daughters, Paula Warden of Rosenberg and Michelle McKinney and husband Joey of Weddington, NC; brother, Thomas Tucker of Victoria; sister, Mary Rutkowski of Houston; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday May 13 from 5-8 p.m. at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland. A funeral service will be held on Friday May 14, 2010 at the SouthPark Funeral Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with a committal service immediately to follow.
