While Walker’s life was not long, he left a lifetime impression to all who loved him so much. His presence in our lives was with unceasing care and dedication to his family. His heart was so tender and compassionate, as a sensitive soul who always put others before himself. His family often turned to him for help as a care provider, a technology expert, a cook, the keeper of plants and the pet care expert. Anytime someone would mention to Walker some problem or ailment he would go and research the topic sharing back how the issue can be remedied. He dedicated his time and resources to his family as a shoulder to lean on with a quiet and gentle presence of soul and spirit.
As a young child Walker was constantly teaching himself new discoveries and learning about various subjects that caught his attention. He loved to explore creative topics such as developing animations with technology, using multi medias to capture beautiful works of art through sketching, photography and painting. He was always shy and low key about sharing his artwork, but everyone who saw the projects he created were astounded by such beauty and skill. Working on a certain art piece he would lose himself in the moment of careful selections of color, movement and tone to ensure the piece was flawless and pleasing to the eye.
His creative nature was always searching for new ways to build or create something unique and special for others. Whether it be cooking up a special dish with all the right ingredients, or making an ornamental plant arrangement, building a garden of plants and flowers, painting and sketching something it was always done with patience and focus.
Spending much of his youth up in the country working on the property with his dad, Walker savored every moment of being among nature. Fayetteville was a special place of peace and solace that he found to be a source of quiet joy for him. He enjoyed the seasons of hunting with his dad, waiting patiently in the deer blind among the quiet and still woods that calmed his spirit and mind.
As a tiny little one year old, Walker could not be contained for long as he constantly had the world to explore around him, with the inquisitive mind of a scientist always searching for new discoveries. Walker, as his name reflects learned to walk and move quickly by the time, he was nine months old. He would tolerate being hugged and cherished for a short time, but then it was time to slide off that lap he was perched on, and go find things new adventures, with such an inquisitive and remarkable mind.
His best friends were always his brothers. It was like seeing a group of four that moved together as a unit of one. They cherished each other with an intense love that Walker always felt at ease when spending time with them. His shy ways would fall away as he laughed and cut up with his brothers, relaxing in their presence.
Walker had a special shine and grace, a spirit that embodied a purity of love, anyone who spent time around him felt the presence of that beauty which was larger than the world he lived in.
