Vui Thi Le's Obituary
At an early age, Vui Le left Vietnam on her own due to political oppression, poverty, and the Vietnam war. In 1988, Vui Le found herself in a refugee camp in the Philippines where she gave birth to her only son, Johnny Nguyen. She was then given access to enter Hong Kong where she resided for a few years before journeying her way to America.
Vui Le was a caring and hard-working mother. Cooking and gardening brought her the most joy. Every year as spring time approached, she would be excited to work on the front lawn so people can see her flowers. She enjoyed the company of her friends and speaking to her loved ones back in Vietnam. Her dream was to visit Vietnam once again. While that dream could not come into fruition, her spirit and the lives she impacted will be carried on by those she touched.
