Ms. Virginia E. Strudivant's Obituary
Virginia E. Sturdivant, 87, was born on Aug. 27, 1923 to Verna and David Gibbs in Mason, TX. She entered into rest on Mar. 3, 2011 in League City. Virginia was preceded in death by Howard Sturdivant her husband and was the mother of son, Darwin Sturdivant, his wife Linda, daughter, Deborah Green and an infant son who died at birth. Virginia had five grandchildren Michael, Kym, Valarie, Lacey, and Christopher and many great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, and many friends. Virginia was a loyal member of the Church of Christ in League City and had worked for Houston Lighting and Power before retiring in 1992. Above all Virginia will be remembered not only by her daughter but many female family members and friends for setting a wonderful example of how a Christian woman should live her life and show kindness to all people...she will be greatly missed until we all meet again.
