Virginia Jo Basaldua-Salazar's Obituary
Virginia Jo Basaldua-Salazar, lovingly known as Gina, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Houston, Texas. She was born September 1, 1969, to Seferino and Janie Basaldua in Tulia, Texas.
Gina will be lovingly remembered for her deep love for her family, and the way she always lit up every room she entered.
The family invites all who loved and cherished Gina to gather with them on Friday, June 12, 2026, for a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N Main St, Pearland, Texas. A funeral mass will follow at 3:00 p.m.
After the service, the family will continue receiving friends until 6:00 p.m. and welcomes everyone to join them in sharing memories and celebrating Gina’s life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Seferino Basaldua.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Janie Basaldua; her three children, Raelynn Garcia and her husband Pedro, and their children Jiovanny, Moises, and Gabriel; Mandy Interiano and her husband Luis, and their children Jessica and Luis Jr.; and Christopher Salazar.
She is mourned by her spouse, Victor Campos.
