Virginia Rae Heady's Obituary
Virginia Rae Heady, 94, gained her wings and joined her husband, Philip, June 20, 2023, after a brief illness. Virginia was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Frank( Jack) and Mary Molendes. After Philip retired from the Air Force in 1968, they lived their life in League City, Texas.
Virginia is survived by 2 daughters, Elaine Henry and Mary Jane Heady, her husband Jack Clary, 2 grandchildren, Corey Hampton, his wife Melissa, Lauren Rae Clary, and one great grandchild Cruz Hampton. Her little dog Princess kept her company after Philip passed.
Virginia complete her nursing degree but made family her priority. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. The annual family reunion in Nacogdoches kept her extended family close and Virgina made sure to attend the last one on Mother’s Day weekend.
Virginia was 40 year member of the Eastern Star local chapter, she was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church in League City and made sure to attend bible study on Thursdays at Texas Avenue Baptist Church.
