Carisalez, Victor's Obituary
Víctor “Spanky” Carisalez passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the age of 71. He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Victor was an experienced tradesman who was proud of his craft. He enjoyed pool and was a Houston Texans football fan.
Born in Cuero, Texas, Victor grew up among his brothers and sisters and many cousins. He went on to graduate from Gary Job Corps with a certification in welding. For the majority of his adult life he lived in Houston, Texas, where he worked as a rig welder for industrial, pipeline and construction companies or contracted under his business Maestro Quality Welding on projects across Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming and Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by his mother Zeferina Gonzales Carrisalez, father Thomas Carrisalez, Sr.; sisters Mary Gloria Hernandez and Josephine Carisalez; brothers Reynaldo Carrisalez and David Anthony Carrisalez.
He is survived by his daughters Connie Marie Carisalez of Corpus Christi and Claudia Carisalez Morlan (husband Roy Morlan) of Denver; son Joshua Michael Carisalez (wife Shannen Ramírez Carisalez) of Houston; three beloved grandsons Benjamin Xavier Morlan, Julian Michael Carisalez, and Nathan Joseph Carisalez; brothers Thomas Carrisalez, Jr., Henry Carrisalez, Daniel Carrisalez, Johnny Carrisalez, Joe Rubén Carrisalez; sister Mary Jane Carrisalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited on Saturday, Nov. 9 to a visitation at 1 PM and celebration of his life at 2 PM at South Park Funeral Home & Cemetery at 1310 S. Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
