Vicki Faye Cottle's Obituary
Vicki Faye Cottle went home to Jesus on September 9th, 2021 at age 62.
Vicki was born to Willis Thomas and Evelyn Carter on February 23, 1959 in Texas City, Texas. She was the fourth child out of five children. The family resided in Friendswood, Texas. Vicki graduated from Friendswood High School in 1977.
Vicki met her husband, Charles Mack Cottle Jr., in 1976 while working at Dairy Queen in Kemah, Texas. Vicki and Mack had their first date at the Sam Houston Coliseum attending an Aerosmith concert. They married one year later on June 19th, 1977 and went on to have two children, Travis Mack and Stephanie Renee.
Vicki held several managerial positions during her working career. She coached Stephanie’s softball team and always made it to support Travis at his baseball and football games. She loved her grandchildren to the moon and back and could never get enough time with them. She had many adventures with her sister Donna, brother in law Rusty and niece Stacy as they traveled the world together making memories. Vicki was a long time member of Highlands Church of Christ and put her faith first during her time on earth.
Vicki is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mack Cottle Jr., and parents, Willis Thomas and Evelyn Carter.
Vicki is survived by her son, Travis Cottle, daughter, Stephanie Cottle, daughter in law, Amanda Cottle, siblings, Tommy Carter, Donna Henson, Jimmy Carter and Eddie Carter, her grandchildren Grant Gonzales and Chloe Cottle.
Pallbearers will be Steven Jones, Garrett Jones, Charles Kelly, Grant Gonzales, David Turpin, Stuart Hood and honorary pallbearer, Bobby Aguilar.
