Mrs. Toribia Medina's Obituary
Toribia (known to family and friends as Tobie, Mom, Grandma, GG) Medina left her loved ones on earth to be with God on Monday, August 29th at the age of 83. She is survived by her children: Mary Villarreal (daughter), Joe Villarreal (Son in Law), and Marisol Medina (Daughter in Law).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Medina Sr. and her sons, Joe Medina Jr. and Mario Medina.
Her grandchildren are: Rebecca Villarreal, Jason Villarreal (Pam Villarreal), Ruben Medina (Alicia Medina), Adrian Medina (Jessica Medina), Rosita Medina, Mario Medina Jr., and Bryan Medina
Her great-grandchildren are: Allison Medina, Landon Medina, Maddyson Medina, Alaina Villarreal, Audrey Villarreal
Tobie was born in Jourdanton, TX on April 16, 1933 where she lived her life until she moved to Houston to raise her family. She married her husband, Joe Medina, Sr. , and had three wonderful children who she cared for and loved. Her life revolved around her family. Her husband passed in 1988 after which she continued to care for her family.
She was a very active, independent, Texas woman who lived life by three values: hard work, honesty, and religious commitment to God. She is an inspiration to her family and left us too soon in life.
A service will be held at South Park Funeral Home on Friday, September 2nd at 12:30PM. Visitation will be that morning from 11:00AM - 12:30PM.
