Mr. Tommy Cass' Obituary
Tommy Cass, 64 of Friendswood, TX passed away suddenly on Friday, December 4, 2015. He was on born August 26, 1951 to J.D. and Maple Cass in Shreveport, Louisiana.
On March 26, 1982 he married his best friend, Mary "Kinnie" Cass, in Houston, TX. Tommy enjoyed traveling, volunteering at Grace Community Church as an usher, gardening, playing sports, watching westerns, and most of all, being with his family and grandkids. Tommy was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend to all. He retired from GMAC in 2004 with over 30 years of service and made many lasting friendships.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley Cass where they will be waiting for him with open arms. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Mary "Kinnie" Cass; his 2 sons, Marcus Cass and Brian Cass and his wife Danielle; grandchildren, Bryson and Brielle; brothers, James and J.D. Cass Jr. of Shreveport, LA; and sisters, Leola Mayes of Shreveport, LA, Mary J. Anderson and her husband Sam of Conley, GA and Betty Davis of Hampton, GA, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, and beloved family dog, Rosco.
The family will be present to receive friends on Friday evening, December 11, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 North Main Street Pearland, TX 77581. His celebration service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Grace Community Church, 14505 Gulf Fwy. Houston TX 77034 and he will be laid to rest at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
