Tomasa H Turner's Obituary
Tomasa H. Turner died peacefully at age 72 on May 12, 2023 in Galveston, Texas with her husband, daughter and son at her side. She grew up in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from San Jacinto College with an Associate’s degree in Nursing, leading to a nursing career spanning 40+ years. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Tom Turner, daughter Angela Turner Konrath and husband William Konrath, grandson Kellen Konrath, son Townesend Turner, sister Laura Gardner, niece Julie Simon and husband Michael Simon, brother Rolando Rivera, niece Adela Justice, great nephew Laurenzo Garza, nephew Miguel Calbillo. Tomasa is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Julia Rivera and sister Guadalupe Rivera. Tomasa had a passion for family, friends, travel and live music and her unyielding generosity, kindness, love, humor and quick wit will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 18 at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland starting at 4:00 PM, followed by a Rosary recitation, eulogy and Catholic mass.
