Mr. Timothy V. Samuel's Obituary
Vavachen was born on May 19, 1940 to late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy and Mariamma Samuel, in Njakanal Kerala India. He was married to Marykutty Samuel on July 16, 1973. They came to Yonkers, New York in search for a better life where they could start their family. In the 10 years that they were in New York, they surrounded themselves with family and friends, and memories that would last them a lifetime. Once settled in their new life and careers, they started their family and were blessed with three children, Eby, Letty, and Betty. In 1981, the family relocated to Houston, TX, where he once again was surrounded by more loving family and friends. He was an active member of St. Thomas C.S. I. Church. He lived a fulfilled and beautiful Christian life. He stood out in every crowd for his character of humility, friendliness, purity, simplicity, and sly humor. His life of helping others, before himself, was seen in everything he did for all that was around him. He was called home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday at 10:12 in the morning on March 4, 2010 in the presence of his family. Although he will be sorely missed by all those who had the privilege to know him, we rest in the knowledge that he is with Jesus where there is no more pain, sorrow, or suffering. May the beautiful example he has left of a life in Christianity, a lively hope, and a whole hearted love for God, inspire many to follow in the footsteps of our Lord, and to be ready to meet him in his soon return. His memory will be eternally cherished through the lives of his loving and supporting wife, Marykutty, his son, Eby his wife, Shyni, daughter Letty, granddaughter Vivian, and daughter, Betty. He also has surviving family members in New Your, Dallas, and India.
